Measuring 'Thick' Liquids

Generally liquids are best measured in a measuring jug. One exception to this is 'thick' liquids such as honey and golden syrup which are more accurately measured by weighing – it is also easier to measure this way! Place your bowl or saucepan directly onto your scales, zero or tare the measurement and then pour directly into it. Both 1 cup (250ml) honey and golden syrup equals 350g.
