Frequently Asked Questions
What will I learn?
The Make Me a Baker Program Outline takes you through the comprehensive program that will teach you not only the 'how' but also the 'why' of baking, exploring the science behind it and giving you the know-how and skills to be a brilliant baker.

How much savoury baking is involved?

How does the Make Me a Baker Online program work? When are the 'Live' online sessions held?
The Make Me a Baker online program runs over 10 months and comprises of 'Live' online sessions, an online forum and at-home projects.
The 'Live' online sessions:
- Take place every 2-4 weeks and run for 2-3 hours, from approximately 10.00am-1.00pm (UTC+10 or +11, depending on the time of the year).
- Will take place on Zoom, therefore a good Wi-Fi connection is important.
- Are held on Sundays.
- Will be recorded so you can watch (or rewatch) at a time that suits you.
- For the current program, click here for the 'Live' online session dates.
For the periods in between the 'Live' online sessions together:
- You will be able to imbed your new-found knowledge through the “homework” component of the program. With the support of a collection of Anneka’s personally-developed recipes specifically related to each module, you will 'practise' the techniques you have learnt.
- You will become a member of the Make Me a Baker exclusive online forum, which is only open to students (and alumni students) of the program. Here you will stay in touch with Anneka and other MMAB students (both current and past) and celebrate your “homework” wins and discuss how to improve any baking that missed the mark. You will also be able to directly ask Anneka any baking-related questions you wish, whenever you want!
- Anneka will send you tips, tricks and information that will help you improve your baking skills and continue your learning.
- There will also be supplementary Q&A sessions held mid-week depending on the needs of the group. These will be recorded to rewatch if you are unable to attend live.
- You will have lifetime access to the online program resources so you can work through the content in your own time and come back to it whenever it suits you.
