Sandwiching Jam Cookies

Did you know that when sandwiching two separate cookies together with jam, the trick is to make sure the jam is warm? Warm jam will not only mean it will be easy to spread evenly over the base cookie, but when it cools, it will set firmly helping to hold the two cookies together without them sliding apart.
